Chiara Fusar Bassini
Chiara Fusar Bassini is a PhD candidate and research associate at the Centre for Sustainability and Data Science Lab. Her research revolves around the application of machine learning methods to European energy data. In particular, her interest lies in the analysis of time-series data from grid operators, with the aim of identifying bottlenecks and inflexibilities to the renewable transition in the current energy market design. Chiara can draw on professional experience from several positions in the energy sector, acquired during and after her graduate studies. She holds a Master of Science in Scientific Computing from the Technical University of Berlin and a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Economics, Management and Computer Science from Bocconi University in Milan.
